Social media in the future

These days there are great improvements in social media monitoring and analytics. The cultural shift would take people to expose their personal details widely on different social media sites. Sharing their likes, dislikes, opinions, photos, videos and other forms of personal information will be the norm and people will become more accepting of personalized experiences, both business and personal, those are reacting to lack of personal information.
Social networks would be decentralized. Friend’s network concept will be a portable experience. Most of the digital experiences will be able to take advantage of the power of social networks in a way that leverages readily available personal information and the relationships that we establish electronically. We’re already seeing the beginnings of this with Facebook Connect and Google’s FriendConnect. Essentially, our interaction with search engines will be different. Real-time information in Google search, e.g. from Twitter, blog results and user reviews, will be more prominent. Google’s Social Search will change the way we interact with search engines by pushing relevant content from our personal networks to the front of search results, making them more personalized.
Widely accessible information from all around the social media world will be used to enhance everyday experiences. Let’s take and example, the contacts book in our phones links to Facebook and Twitter to show real-time updates on what the contact is doing before you put in the call, real-time reviews from friends and associates will appear in GPS-based mapping services as a standard feature, and socially enabled CRM will change the way companies manage business relationships forever. Social media will become an ordinary thing in everyone’s life that the thoughts of not having socially enhanced experiences will seem illogical. I hope we are not talking about the social media in the future and we just refer to digital media again.

Change did happen

“Change can happen”-Barack Obama used to say this earlier when he was fighting to win 2008 elections for the president of United States. And this change would not have happened if he didn’t used social media at its maximum extent. He’s not just the first African American president but also the first president to utilized technologies beyond email or a cell phone to office to raise campaign donations. He’s the first “Social Media President” in history. He was the first one who understood the power of sharing and communicating through social media not only to deliver and receive messages, but to energize the Americans into action. Barack Obama along with his whole campaign team focused in and realized the power and they utilized different technologies that took them from the bottom to the top. Even in the 2012 elections, Obama used social media pretty well for his campaigns. It wasn’t just one social media website that they used, they used everything working in conjunction with other websites, complementing each other and promoting the same singular message of the change that can happen if people who use those websites helped to elect Barack Obama as the President of United States of America.
All these politicians should have a page on Facebook and twitter as well because these two websites are most popular social media sources all around the world. They can use these websites to promote their campaigns like they can make a special page where they can put on information regarding their coming events and what they going to do if they win. This can help people a lot when it comes to making their decision when they go for voting. Also, politicians have a huge advantage to gain more knowledge from their followers that what they want and how they want, so that they can follow their instructions and become an all-people lover political party.

Do you believe that social media has increased or decreased the quality of news

I think that social media is a great addition to our lives and it has improved and somehow increased the spread of information. However, it also has some negative aspects. Social media had brought some changes in the ways of communicating and collecting and retrieving information. The most significant benefit of using social media that it is an accessible and inexpensive source of communication that enables the never ending flow and exchange of information. It allows people to communicate across the globe and to access information and news from the entire world. We no longer have to wait for the evening news because we can now access information or news much quicker via internet.
Despite the fact that social media enables a quick access to different types of information, it is essential to remember that not  all information comes from a credible and a reliable source. In many cases general people can access social media websites and add own comments and information that are simply based on media can be both accurate and misleading in information provided.

With the increase of available information through social media I believe that the quality of information may have increased as readers have more access to various sources and can better determine the validity of the news and information reported. This may also allow readers to form better decisions in regards to the quality and credibility of information posted. If approached with caution and awareness I do believe that readers now have access to more quality based information.

Social Media

The life is so much fun with the help of social media, isn't it ? Well, basically it means communicating with other people through internet to exchange ideas, share knowledge and much more, the list never ends that what advantages we take from social media. Like if you want to get knowledge about anything, lets take an example of cooking, you can search it in Google  and get 100 ways to cook that particular dish. Isn't that great ? Google is the largest revenue generating company in social media, so you can imagine that how social  media is growing. There are also some other social media powerful sources like twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn, Blogger, Wikipedia, Second Life, MySpace, WordPress, Google+, Pinterest and a lot more. Facebook is the biggest platform for sharing ideas, updating news and also interacting with people. Now, for some people(including me), there is no life without social media.
YouTube is the largest video sharing website in the world. It is so easy that you can upload a video on YouTube and the whole world can watch that video. Most of the content on YouTube is uploaded by individuals. YouTube uses HTML5 technology to display their  video content. However, YouTube was founded by some individuals working in PayPal but later on it was bought by Google.
Facebook is the most used website on internet. It has most users than  any other website on internet. It has got more than a billion users. Interacting through Facebook is so much easier than anything else. Skype is the website that can be used for video chatting all around the world just for free.
Social media is a great way doing business and earning money. Sometimes we do business with those people, with whom we have never interacted in person. It is so easier to find new employment opportunities via social media. You can do online shopping with social media. So social media had become an important part in most of the people's life, that what i think.
